What we publish

The articles here describe methods for keeping a personal book collection in order and for building reading habits that last. The material is descriptive: it explains how cataloguing, shelving, and reading logs work, and leaves the choices to the reader.

How the articles are written

Each article focuses on one task and gives concrete examples rather than general advice. Where an article refers to an organization or a practice, it links to a publicly available source so a reader can check it directly.

Sources and images

References point to public institutions such as Library and Archives Canada and Canadian public libraries. Photographs are drawn from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences, with credit in each caption.

Editorial independence

Clear And Table does not sell books or accept payment for coverage. The site has no commercial relationship with the institutions it references.
